Briefly summarize the plot :

The Kim family, consisting of his father Kim Ki-taek (Song Kang-ho), his wife Park Chung-suk (Jang Hye-jin), his son Kim Ki-woo (Choi Woo-shik), and his daughter Kim Ki-jeong (Park So-Dam) lives in a small, rundown, semi-underground apartment. Their daily job is folding pizza boxes, with very little income and difficulty in meeting their daily needs. One day, Ki-woo'sfriend, Min-hyuk (Park Seo-joon) visits the Kim family and gives a "lucky stone" (). Min-hyuk plans to study abroad, thus suggesting that Ki-woo take over his job as an English tutor for Park Da-hye (Jung Ji-so), daughter of rich family Park Dong-ik (Lee Sun-kyun) and his wife Choi Yeon-gyo (Jo Yeo-jeong) and brother of Park Da-song (Jung Hyun-joon). Ki-woo is willing to accept his friend's offer.

Gradually, Kim's family tried so that one by one their family members could work in the Park family, by recommending each other and lying as professional service providers who did not know each other. Ki-woo becomes a tutor and secretly starts a romantic relationship with Da-hye. When Yeon-gyo intends to find an art teacher and therapist for Da-song, Ki-woo takes advantage of this opportunity by suggesting a "professional" named Jessica from Chicago, Illinois, United States, who turns out to be his own sister Ki-jeong. Ki-jeong then slanders the Park family's driver by putting his underwear in Park's family-owned car. Dong-ik drives the driver away and replaces him with a former valet driver who turns out to be Ki-taek. And for the last time, Ki-taek connects with his two children to attract his mother, Chung-suk becomes ahousehold assistant, trying to frighten that their current aide, Mun-gwang (Lee Jung-eun), has tuberculosis by using peach allergy he suffered.

One day, the Park family camped overnight for a gift for Da-song's birthday. Kim's family partyed, enjoying lavish facilities and drinking in the house. At night when it rains heavily, Mun-gwang suddenly asks permission to enter the house because he wants to take something in the basement. While the whole family is hiding, Chung-suk lets Mun-gwang in. Unexpectedly anyone, Mun-gwang shows a bunker, where her husband Geun-se (Park Myung-hoon) is hiding for four years to avoid the loan sharks' snares. When Chung-suk threatened to call the police, Kim's family's lies were accidentally exposed. Without thinking, Mun-gwang seized the opportunity by recording them and threatening to send the tape to the Park Family. Mun-gwang and Geun-se take their hostage. But when Mun-gwang and Geun-are off guard, Kim's family tries to grab Mun-gwang's cellphone and fight each other in the living room. Kim's family finally took the cellphone.

Due to heavy rain, Park's family suddenly canceled their vacation and called Chung-suk. The Kim family seizes Mun-gwang and Geun-se in the bunker, cleans the living room and then hides, while Chung-suk is rousing to cook ramyeon as Yeon-gyo requests. When Mun-gwang manages to escape to the living room, Chung-suk kicks him back so that Mun-gwang bounces down. Chief Mun-gwang hit the wall and suffered a concussion. When Chung-suk serves his food, Yeon-gyo reveals Da-song's traumatic experience she had experienced a few years ago when she saw a figure that was mistaken for a ghost, who actually was Geun-se who came out of the bunker. As the remaining Kim family hides under the table, Dong-ik complains about Ki-taek's body odor to his wife.

Taking advantage of the situation of Dong-ik and his sleeping wife, Ki-taek, Ki-jeong, and Ki-woo leave the house and run to their house. They found that their neighborhood was flooded, their apartment damped to chest height, and immediately tried to save items that could still be saved. Ki-woo brings the "lucky stone" to a sports arena where flooded residents are evacuated. Meanwhile, Moon-kwang dies from a concussion, Geun-sae cries.

The next day, Yeon-gyo holds a birthday party for Da-song. He invited all Ki-jeong and Ki-woo, while Ki-taek and Chung-suk were asked to come to work. Ki-woo brings a stone to the bunker. Geun-sae ambushes Ki-woo and hits his head with a rock, then runs away. Trying to get revenge for the death of his wife Moon-gwang, he takes a kitchen knife and stabs Ki-jeong in front of party guests who scream in fear. Da-song experiences a seizure due to trauma after seeing Geun-sae, while Ki-taek rushes to stop Ki-jeong's bleeding when Dong-ik screams at him to take Da-song to the hospital. However, Ki-taek throws the car key and the key is trapped under Chung-seok and Geun-sae who are fighting, right before Chung-seok kills Geun-sae with a meat prick. Out of all the chaos, Ki-taek who harbored anger over Dong-ik's behavior towards him and Dong-ik's reaction that showed disgust after smelling Geun-se's body odor while taking the car key, taking a knife and stabbing Dong-ik to death, then running away self.

A few weeks later, Gi-u woke up from a coma. Gi-u and his mother were convicted of fraud and undergoing probation, while Gi-jeong was killed and Gi-taek disappeared. Gi-u continues to spy on the Park family's home which has now been sold to German families and sees the Morse code from the flashing lights which translates as a message. The message came from Gi-taek who is now hiding in the bunker. Gi-taek buried Mun-gwang's body in the backyard. Gi-u wrote a letter to his father, who swore that one day he would get enough money to buy a house and reunite the remaining family. The film ends with Gi-u and Chung-suk who still live in banjiha, just like the initial scenes from the film.

Scenes I liked best in the movie : when Yeon-kyo wants to hold a sudden birthday party for her youngest child, Da-song. When Ki-taek - who has now 'successfully' become a driver - escorts and helps him shop for party preparations, Yeon-kyo is thankful for the weather and clear sky due to the rain all night.

Scenes that I did not like :
There is one scene where Mr.Park warns his driver to do something he wants and confirms that the driver's duty is because he has been paid extra. Or when Ki-Jung is dying, they are still more concerned about their son who incidentally just fainted.
Outstanding individual performance :
Outstanding individual performance when Ki-Woo taught the Park family's daughter in English, doi told him to make a sentence with the word "pretend"? small and trivial things that have become a clue to continue the story. I consider this film the best and worth it to win the festival because of its many morals, typical of the film is very smart but can be watched from all walks of life because of simple and uncomplicated grammar.
Performances that were not so good :
When at noon was having a party then suddenly there was an attack on one another stabbing a knife and seen by some small children it is not worth seeing

What was believable about the movie:
All thanks to the child, Kim Ki-woo, who disguised himself as a private teacher by using fake diplomas. It was there, he recommended his younger brother (Kim Ki-Jeong) become a small art teacher Park Da-Song. Gradually, their father, Kim Ki-Taek, became the Park family's driver, and their mother, Kim Chung-Sook, became a household assistant. It is clear that when we have been trusted by superiors or business owners, our voices begin to be very be calculated. It's clear that the recommendations given by Ki-Woo can be well received by the Park family. Although, there is evil intentions behind it all.
Would you recommend that your readers see this movie?
Why or why not?
yes highly recommend because this parasite film story builds character and atmosphere, to make the audience stunned. Behind that, he also carries a powerful message through a fairly simple premise. Bong's genius was seen when trying to photograph the lives of people with different conditions to live in the same room. Not only that, he also described the efforts of a group of people to survive in the world until forced to enter as a parasite in relations with other humans.

Quarantine, now!

Quarantine, now!

Nearly one month after the first two COVID-19 cases were announced, efforts to combat the virus, including a campaign to remain at home, did not show significant results. Thousands of people have left Jabodetabek, the center of national outbreaks, for their hometown in other parts of Java, putting the risk not only of their families but the entire population in these areas.

In Central Java alone, the number of visitors has recently reached 7,000, according to Governor Ganjar Pranowo, who has asked regents and mayors throughout the province to monitor the health of returning refugees, most of whom are migrant workers.
Concerned by the ticking time bomb, some regional leaders pushed for "local locking" to protect the population in their area.

On Friday, the number of confirmed cases in Indonesia reached 1,046, an increase of 153 from the previous day, with 87 deaths. Only now, after the large-scale, at-risk human movement has begun, the government is considering a ban on the annual exodus for the biggest Islamic festival, Eid. Last year the movement involved around 23 million people, including nearly 15 million from Jabodetabek.

We support the government's decision, if it comes, to ban this year's traditional exodus. But because requests to maintain physical distance and avoid crowds are not very effective, we urge a partial or quarantine lock immediately; either by island or province.

Some researchers have predicted that the outbreak will only end in late May or early June, the earliest, which means the crisis will remain when Muslims celebrate Eid.

The rapid spread of the virus in Italy, the country hardest hit by COVID-19, originated from human migration from China, the center of the initial spread.

People cannot be blamed for traveling home, because they might have lost their jobs or were not informed of the need for physical distance and might anticipate locking. Regional leaders in Jabodetabek do not have the authority to impose travel bans, even though they know exactly the dangers of mass movements.

Limiting human movement is only possible if the government enacts the Health Quarantine Act 2018. The law provides for prison sentences and fines for residents who leave quarantine areas. As a result, the government is responsible for feeding the population in these areas, as well as their livestock.

President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo has repeatedly ruled out this option, despite mounting pressure for him to do the opposite. In a letter that has become viral, the University of Indonesia Medical Professor Board urged the President to implement local locking, such as in Jakarta, for at least 14 days to significantly limit the spread of the virus.

"Only a few hospitals have ventilators, which leads to high mortality rates," the council wrote.
"Studies show that Indonesia only has two intensive care unit beds [ICU] per 100,000 people [...] the lowest proportion in Asia," he added.

The Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI) said 10 doctors had died in the struggle to treat patients, which experts say could reach tens of thousands in a few months unless a crackdown was taken.
